In July British Airways announced that all 31 of its remaining 747-400s had sadly flown their last commercial services as a result of the devastating impact the Covid-19 pandemic has had on the airline and the aviation sector.
The airline phased out most of the fleet since, with G-CIVV the latest to leave Heathrow Sept. 27th.
As of now, only two 747-400s remain parked at the hub: G-CIVY and G-CIVB - aircraft in retro liveries - will depart from Heathrow Thursday. British Airways will annouce departure times shortly.
