LONDON - Hong Kong suspends British Airways services through Christmas after four BA passengers tested positive for Covid-19 upon arrival earlier this month.

Hong Kong imposes a flight ban on British Airways between Dec. 12th and 25th - the airline may only operate return services from Hong Kong to London during this period.

The temporary suspension was invoked after British Airways flight 27 arrived Hong Kong with four Covid-19 positive passengers Dec. 8th. British Airways said it was "working closely with authorities to resume services".

Hong Kong imposed similar flight bans on KLM, Emirates and Nepal Airlines after one or more of their passengers tested positive for Covid-19 upon arrival.
