ABERDEEN - Loganair, the UK’s largest regional airline, has further bolstered its route network as it launches a new direct service between Aberdeen and Dublin, with the first flight taking to the skies Sunday 5 September. The airline operates the route with a 49-seat Embraer 145 regional jet.

Connecting business and leisure travellers alike, the new route will initially operate up to four times weekly, with intentions of increasing frequency to a daily service from Spring 2022.

Greig White, Loganair’s Sales Manager, said: "We are constantly monitoring travel trends and customer demand, and we are thrilled to launch our new Aberdeen-Dublin route and build our portfolio with both airports."

"Dublin is an important route for the North East and will deliver vital connectivity for both leisure and business passengers travelling between Scotland and Ireland," Mark Berveridge, Operations Director at Aberdeen Airport, added.
