LONDON – Faced with mounting energy prices amid the Iran war, Britain is easing some sanctions on Russian oil.

The British government will allow imports of aviation fuel and diesel refined from Russian oil in third countries for an indefinite period, PA news agency reports.

The news comes amid the ongoing crisis in the Strait of Hormuz - up to 70 percent of UK jetfuel imports come from this region.
