MADRID - British holiday bookings to Spain have increased 400 percent since the government has lifted mandatory quarantine for fully vaccinated travellers.

From monday, 07/19, british travellers who return from Spain do not need to isolate themselves for ten days anymore - if they are fully vaccinated. Nevertheless, they still have to present two Covid-tests, one before boarding to Spain and the other before boarding back to Great Britain.

On Britain's list, Spain now is one of the amber countries. According to the Spanish Airlines Association (ALA), since the easing became public on 07/08, bookings from Great Britain to Spain increased 400 percent.

Ryanair and Easyjet have added extra flights in order to meet the demand.
