LONDON - A serious accident Sunday keeps Southend Airport closed at the beginning of the week. This causes some headache to Easyjet.

An accident involving a Beech B200 aircraft Sunday afternoon keeps Southend Airport shut down. All flights scheduled for Monday have been "rerouted", the airport said.

The business jet of Dutch operator Zeusch Aviation crashed shortly after take-off. Videos show a fireball within airport perimeters.

UK AAIB sent investigators to Southend Airport.

The airport closure caused some disruption to Easyjet's schedule - the airline is among the biggest commercial operators out of Southend.
