Gatwick Airports suffers water supply disruptions

LONDON - London Gatwick Airport has been affected by a disruption to its water supply, the airport operator said on "X" on Sunday.

The operator reported a "disruption" across the airport after an apparent "water issue" at the Bough Beech water treatment works. Toilet flushing systems and handwashing facilities were not functioning in some parts of the terminal.

"Bottled water is being made available to passengers and staff across the airport and other contingency measures are being put in place to ensure the welfare of our passengers," the airport said. There were no disruptions to flight operations.
