MANCHESTER - British leisure airline Jet2 mulls replacing at least part of its Boeing 737-800 fleet by new Airbus A320neo aircraft.

Jet2 is sourcing the market for mid-term replacements of its Boeing 737-800 fleet. According to "Reuters" Airbus emerged as the frontrunner for an order that might include up to 50 A320neo offered to Jet2 at a substantial discount. Jet2 currently owns 75 Boeing 737-800 with an average fleet age of twelve years.
