LONDON - Formation flight into the new beginning of travel: British Airways and Virgin Atlantic departed London Heathrow Monday for their first flights in the U.S. under relaxed immigration rules.

BA1 and VS3 share a destination - two Airbus A350-1000s of British Airways and Virgin Atlantic left Heathrow Monday morning bound for New York JFK. The flights took off at the same time from runways 27R and 27L. The United States allows jabbed Europeans to cross its borders again.
